Sewer, curb, gutter and crossing installations along the Northwest Service Road are all complete. Paving is also complete.

The accesses to the Northwest Service Road from 23 Avenue and east of the Saratoga Restaurant are closed.

Starting at 5 p.m. on Sunday, September 27, 2009:

The sidewalk along the north side of 23 Avenue across Calgary Trail/Gateway Boulevard and across 23 Avenue at 99 Street will reopen, once again allowing pedestrian access across the interchange.

The free stop-to-stop bus service will no longer be offered.

Until Sunday, September 27 at 5 p.m., pedestrian access across the 23 Avenue and Gateway Boulevard/Calgary Trail intersection will be prohibited. ETS will be offering free stop-to-stop bus service for pedestrians to cross the construction site safely. Bus service extending beyond the stop-to-stop zone near the intersection will require standard fare.

Pedestrians are encouraged to plan their routes and give themselves a little extra time to get to their destination.

Stop Locations
For free stop-to-stop bus service across the 23 Avenue Interchange pedestrians can use bus route #74 at the following stops:

• Pickup location - bus stop #4481 located on the south side of 23 Avenue east of 105 Street
• Drop-off location - bus stop #3631 located on the south side of 23 Avenue east of 99 Street

• Pickup location - bus stop #3742 located on the north side of 23 Avenue at 98 Street
• Drop-off location - bus stop #4445 located on the north side of 23 Avenue west of 105 Street

See the Route 74 Bus Stop Locations Map. All stops are located outside of the construction zone to keep pedestrians safe. Regular bus fares apply at all other ETS bus stops.
